I was born in a small town in Illinois. My mother was single and I never met my real dad. When I was in middle school my mom became mentally ill and she abused me. She believed everyone was working against her. She believed I was trying to get her put in jail. She also didn’t like going to Church. My grandmother was a good Christian and she secretly taught me about Jesus and she taught me how to say simple prayers like the Our Father and Hail Mary. I wanted to go to Church with her on Sundays but when my mom found out she would yell at me. It got better when she was arrested and I moved into Grandma’s house.
Everything was good until my grandfather died suddenly on pancreatic cancer. The house belonged to him and it was on sale now. My grandmother was put in a nursing home. My cousin who lived with us was in college. I lived with my best friend for a few weeks until the Department of Child and Family Services found out. They made me move into a foster home a year ago.
I live with a woman and 6 other kids. I don’t feel like I get enough attention. She accuses me of stealing things I don’t steal. I know I shouldn’t care what she says. God knows I’m innocent. She has her good days too, I don’t want to leave that out. It’s just hard.
The basics? I’m a girl. I work at a grocery store. I’m a senior in high school. I love music and I sing in choir. I love Barlowgirl and Switchfoot. I am an outdoor enthusiast. I love hiking and rock climbing. I also love nature photography and being in photoshoots. I've also done some amateur modeling work
I want to meet some more people online who value their faith and are good people! I found this site on the Proboards support site, because a friend of mine has a Proboards too. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you!

sometimes God allows us to go thru valleys i think so when we caome out the otherside and get down the road it may be months or years later you may come across someone who is in the same boat and u will be able to help them. I know it sounds like you have had alot more piled on you at a young age than most people but it sounds like you are going down the right road now and i think that speaks volumes about you and your faith i dont know if at 32 if i could handle all of the thins that you have been thru so just keep doing what your doing and the good Lord willing things will work out
